Rap2a Is Negatively Regulated by NF-κB and Contributes to Growth via Wnt Pathway in Shrimp

چکیده

Rap2a, a member of Ras family small GTPases, plays key role in growth and development. So far, no Rap2a homolog has been discovered crustaceans. Herein, from shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei , named LvRap2a, was cloned identified. LvRap2a showed high level sequence conservation to other homologs different species. found be abundantly expressed hemocytes, muscle, hepatopancreas intestine tissues. Importantly, knockdown effectively suppressed the length weight experiment. Mechanistically, we that could induce expression several Wnts, which are positive regulators cellular growth, differentiation, tissue homeostasis. Moreover, observed negatively regulated by LvDorsal (NF-κB), transcription factor innate immune signaling pathway. These results indicated contributed probably activating Wnt pathway, crosstalk between immunity as well serve potential target for promotion.

IgE class switch recombination is regulated by CaMKII via NF-κB alternative pathway

IgE class switch recombination (CSR) is under the tight control to maintain the low concentration of serum IgE. IL-4 and CD40 signal induces IgE CSR. NF-κB classical pathway and STAT6 was indicated in this pathway. In this study, we prepared a M12 cell line expressing TRAF3 in an inducible manner. This cell line showed impaired signal transduction of NF-κB alternative pathway and diminished exp...

Mesencephalic Astrocyte-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Is Involved in Inflammation by Negatively Regulating the NF-κB Pathway

Inflammation can cause endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress and therefore activates the unfolded protein response (UPR). ER stress and the consequent UPR have the potential to activate NF-κB. However, the factors mediating the crosstalk between ER stress and the NF-κB pathway remain unclear. Here, we determined that ER stress inducible protein Mesencephalic Astrocyte-derived Neurotrophic Factor (M...

Protosappanin A protects against atherosclerosis via anti- hyperlipidemia, anti-inflammation and NF-κB signaling pathway in hyperlipidemic rabbits

Objective(s): Protosappanin A (PrA) is an effective and major ingredient of Caesalpinia sappan L. The current study was aimed to explore the effect of PrA on atherosclerosis (AS). Materials and Methods: Firstly, the experimental model of AS was established in rabbits by two-month feeding of high fat diet. Then, the rabbits were randomly divided into five groups and treated with continuous high ...

Activation of Wnt signaling reduces high-glucose mediated damages on skin fibroblast cells

Objective(s): High-glucose (HG) stress, a mimic of diabetes mellitus (DM) in culture cells, alters expression of a large number of genes including Wnt and NF-κB signaling-related genes; however, the role of Wnt signaling during HG-mediated fibroblast damage and the relationship between Wnt and NF-κB signaling have not been understood. In this study, we aimed to investigate the ffects of Wnt sig...

Transcription of Tnfaip3 Is Regulated by NF-κB and p38 via C/EBPβ in Activated Macrophages

Macrophages play a pivotal role in the immune system through recognition and elimination of microbial pathogens. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) on macrophages interact with microbial substances and initiate signal transduction through intracellular adapters. TLR4, which recognizes the lipopolysaccharides (LPS) on Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, triggers downstream signaling mediators and ...
